Elder Citizen Visa Permit

An Elder Citizen Visa is a visa designed for foreign retirees who wish to reside in Indonesia long-term. Process and status:

• Initially VITAS: The initial application is submitted as a VITAS (Limited Stay Visa).
• Conversion to KITAS: Upon arrival in Indonesia, the VITAS can be converted into a KITAS (Limited Stay Permit Card) for elder citizens.
• Extension: This KITAS can be extended annually for a maximum of 5 years.
• Conversion to KITAP: After 5 years, applicants can apply for a permanent stay permit (KITAP), if eligible.
• Travel: This visa allows the holder to enter and exit Indonesia as often as they like as long as the visa and stay permit are valid.
